As some of you know, the family lost one of our dearest patriarchs on Sunday. Elmer Raymond “Doc” Schmidt died February 22nd, 2015, at the age of 91. He was grandpa to some, uncle to others, and cousin to many. Elmer was the son of Fred Schmidt, grandson of Henry Schmidt, great grandson of Conrad Jacob Schmidt, and great great grandson of Dietrich Schmidt.
Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday, February 28th, at the Apostolic Christian Church in Winthrop, MN.
